Control Panel Users

With the module Control Panel Users you can manage, change or delete your existing Hosting Control Panel Users or you can create new users. You can define certain access rights to each Control Panel User, like which modules can be accessed and which not. You can also change a lot of general settings, like the design of the Control Panel, the used webmail GUI, the time for the auto logout and many more. Quick access:

Open the Control Panel Users Module

First you have to login into your Hosting Control Panel. You have 3 different possibilities to start your Control Panel:
  • either you enter "www.yourdomain.tld/cp" (www.yourdomain.tld have to be replaced by your own domain) into the address bar of your browser
  • or you use the Control Panel Login at our website
  • or you start it directly inside your Customer Center
    In your Customer Center switch to the tab "Purchases" and move your mouse over the hosting package and click on the link "Control Panel" at the side menu that popped up.
In your Control Panel you need to open the module Control Panel Users.

#Create new CP-User

To create a new Control Panel User at first you need to click on "Add new User". Enter a name, a username, and a secure password for the new user and select a language. With the entry "Module permissions:" you can define in which module the new Control Panel User should have access. You have also the possibility to only provide some access rights inside a module, with that a Control Panel User can for example create a new directory but can’t delete directories. After checking and setting all needed "Module permissions" finish the setup of the new Control Panel User by clicking on "Create".

#Manage CP-Users

With the Button "Action >" on the left of each Control Panel User you can set different settings. With "Update" you can change the "Name", "Username", "Password", "Language" and the "Module permissions".
With "Contact details" you can setup an e-mail address for notifications of your Control Panel. Click on "Add new Contact Address" and insert all needed information.
With "Settings" you can define different settings like:
  • Change the Control Panel Design
  • Time until automatic logout
  • The Webmail GUI
  • The time zone and many more.
With a click on "Delete" you can delete not needed Control Panel Users.
