Set up a new e-mail account in Microsoft Outlook 2010
Bellow you will find a detailed description of how to set up a new e-mail account in Microsoft Outlook 2010.
Step 1
First you have to open Microsoft Outlook 2010.
You can do so by typing "Outlook 2010" into the search bar of Windows or you use a desktop or taskbar icon to start it.
Step 2
Now click on the orange tab "File" in the upper left corner.
Step 3
Next click on "+Add Account" to start the setup assistant.
Step 4
Please select the last point in this list named "Manually configure server settings or additional server types".
Continue with "Next >".
Step 5
In this window the first point "Internet E-mail" should be preselected. If not, please select this point and continue with "Next >".
Step 6
Now you have to enter your "User", "Server" and "Logon Information".
At "User Information" you type in your name and the e-mail address which you want to set up.
Important:
The "Server Information" should be set as in the screenshot shown to ensure you are using a SSL protected connection. The "Account Type" is POP3. The "Incoming mail server" and the "Outgoing mail server (SMTP)" are both ssl01.alldomains.hosting. At "Logon Information" you use your e-mail address as the "User Name" and the "Password" you set at the Email Manager module of your Control Panel. Information referring to this step can be found at the Email Manager module of your Control Panel by clicking on "Action >" besides your e-mail address and open "Settings for Mail Client".

Step 7
Double check the settings and continue by clicking on "More settings …".
Step 8
At the first tab "General" you have the possibility to type in a name for your e-mail account. If you don’t choose a name the e-mail address itself will be set as name for the account.
Step 9
Now switch to the tab "Outgoing server".
Please select the point "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" and make sure the point "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" is selected too.
Next switch to the tab "Advanced".
Step 10
In the tab "Advanced" you can configure the ports and encryption method of your incoming server and your outgoing server.
Incoming server (POP3):
Port: 995
Set the tick at "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)"
Outgoing server (SMTP) (choose one of the two following possibilities): Port 587 with the encryption method "TLS"

Port 464 with the encryption method "SSL"
Save your settings with "OK".

Step 11
Back on the previous window you now uncheck the box at "Test Account Settings by clicking the Next button".
Afterwards click on the button "Next >".
Step 12
If the settings you entered are correct you will get to this window.
Now you can add another e-mail account by clicking on "Add another account…"
or
you end the setup assistant with the button "Finish".
