How to set up an e-mail account in various e-mail clients
If you have already created a new email address in the email manager of your hosting control panel, you can now set up the address in your desired email program.
The following information is required:
- Username: Your e-mail address (e.g. firstname@lastname.tld)
- Password: You can create a password in the e-mail manager when creating a new e-mail account. You can change it there at any time.
- Incoming mail server (IMAP or POP3): The name of the server where your hosting package is located.
As account type you have to choose between IMAP or POP3.
The port for IMAP with SSL is 993, for POP with SSL 995. Some e-mail programs set the port automatically. - Outgoing mail server (SMTP server): The server name is the same as for the incoming mail server.
The port with SSL is 465; the port with STARTTLS is 25 or 587. Some e-mail programs set the port automatically.

You can also find the settings for the e-mail program in the e-mail manager module of your control panel. To do so, click on the "Action >" field next to the e-mail address. Then select the menu item "Mail Client Settings". Here you can find all the necessary information at a glance.
